My Brightest Diamond - Feeling Good.
Continuing the recent theme, here’s another take on the song Feeling Good. This time, My Brightest Diamond, with her low husky voice. Enjoy!
I-dol asked me about this review some times ago but I never got to write it… Like I said in the previous post, everynight, I wrote pages and pages in my head about what went wrong in SATC 2 but in the morning, everything was back to blank… While I was failing to produce anything interesting, MC wrote a pretty nice review (in french) where she basically sums up why we left the theater asking ourselves why, oh why…

The Pussycat Dolls - Feelin’ Good
Yeah, you read right, the Pussycat Dolls! Actually, I was a big fan of them around the first album, really liked their sexy/girl power image. I have listened to the album a lot and it is a pretty solid album overall, every song featured had a “possible single” potential. I especially enjoyed Feelin’ Good, an original jazz song originally by Nina Simone I guess.
At Kit Kat concert, someone sang this song.
I guess I was nostalgic so voila!
Yes totally… I spend most of my free time online.

I did a post like this some time ago… Probably 6 months ago, when I went to Kit Kat last concert… She’s taking singing classes, and every 6 months, they’re doing a show, singing their favorites songs.
Unfortunately, every time, I’m slightly disappointed after seeing the ratio of french-speaking songs on the setlist… Around 20% or less… That’s too bad…
So each time I tell myself: next time, I’ll submit a set of french songs for Kit Kat, but it seems, like the other singers, I’m more drawn to english-speaking music.
I barely listen to french-speaking music.
Why’s that? We have a lot of talented artists here in Quebec and France has some of its classic as well.
I decided to play a little game… I asked around what song would the others spectators choose. It had to have french lyrics though….
